Militiamen fired at in Nazran

            On the night of April 1, on the cross-road of Oskanov and Kommunalnaya streets in Nazran, unknown persons fired at from a grenade cup discharge at employees of the republican Ministry of Internal Affairs, which were in vehicles "UAZ" and "Zhiguli" of the tenth model. As a result of the attack, none of the militiamen has not suffered. Some splinters of the grenades got into vehicles, having caused insignificant damages.

The assailants managed to escape to unknown direction. Their searches have not brought any results. The information on the incident is received from an inhabitant of Nazran.

Detentions of citizens

Samashki village

            About 19 o'clock in the evening on March 31, in the village of Samashki of Achkhoi-Martanovski district employees of power structures conducted the so-called «address special operation». A 41-years local resident was detained in one of the private houses. He was taken away to unknown direction.

The villager of the detainee was informed on it. The circumstances of the incident and the surname of the detainee are being established.

Sadovoye village

            According to the information, received from local residents, on 17 March, in the village of Sadovoye of Groznenski district workers of power departments, which arrived to the settlement on several vehicles, detained a 50-years resident Ismailov living in the house on Bukharskaya street. According to the available information, Ismailov was accused of belonging to militants.

Germenchuk village

            On 26 March, in the village Germenchuk of Shalinski district representatives of local law enforcement bodies detained one of the local residents. The reason for his detention is not established.

Chechen resident detained in Rostov

            According to the information received from an inhabitant of the city of Grozny, two days ago in the city of Rostov-on-Don employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained his friend, an inhabitant of Urus-Martanovski district (the surname is not provided due to the request of the source). The young man was accused by law enforcers of belonging to insurgents.

Nineteen persons wounded in Sary-Su

            According to one of the inhabitants of Shelkovski district, late night on 29 March in the village of Sary-Su, as a result of explosion of a grenade, 19 persons were wounded. Ccording to the source, the incident occurred on Oktiabrski in the courtyard of one of the local residents, where a wedding was taking place. A quarrel occurred between two young men, and then one of them threw a grenade into a crowd.

            Nineteen persons were hospitalized to the local hospital with wounds of various degrees. The condition of one of the victims, a 47-years woman, is estimated as grave. Militiamen detained the originator of the incident, a 27-years inhabitant of the village of Karagalinskaya.
