Russian serviceman murdered in Troitskaya

            In second part of March 9, in the village of Troitskaya of Ingushetia’s Sunzhenski district unknown persons moving on a vehicle of "Zhiguli" VAZ-21115 fired at a truck "KAMAZ" with servicemen of federal forces. As a result of the attack, one of two militaries, which were in a cabin of a truck (driver), received a heavy wound and died on the scene. The second serviceman has not suffered.

            The assailants manage to disappear to unknown direction. Their searches undertaken by local law enforcers have not brought any success.

The information on the incident is received from local residents. The surname of the perished serviceman is being established.

On 8 March troops were brought into Nazran

            According to the information, received from local residents, in the morning on the 8th of March divisions of Russian troops entered the city of Nazran. According to eyewitnesses, a column of trucks "Urals" with servicemen of Internal troops accompanied with armored troop-carriers has stretched more than for one kilometer, beginning from the suburbs of Nazran and ending at one of the central streets of the city - Chechenskaya. Local authorities have declared, that bring military divisions into Nazran had been caused by necessity to strengthen security measures on March 8.

            Meanwhile, many local residents believe, that authorities tried to put psychological pressure upon participants of the 5-th Congress of Ingush people, which had been scheduled for that day in Nazran. According to some information, this event has taken place in the town of Karabulak.

«Address special operation» in Dyshni-Vedeno

            According to one of inhabitants of the village of Dyshni-Vedeno of Vedenski district, on the 6th of March in this settlement, during conduction of the so-called "address special operation", employees of power structures detained and taken away to unknown direction his villager, a young man of about 23 - 24 years. The surname of the arrested person is not provided due to request of the source.

According to the source, the arrested person was brought a charge against in abetting insurgents.

Detentions of citizens

Grozny rural district

            On March 3, in Groznenski district of the republic employees of militia, who were at one of the posts, detained Mirzaev, the inhabitant of the village of Chechen-Aul. The information on it is received from friends of the man.

As it became known, detention of Mirzaev was done after check of his documents and examination of his vehicle. Later, Mirzaev was released with a requirement to come to militia on the short notice.

Starye Atagi village

            At the beginning of March, in the village of Starye Atagi of Groznenski district workers of law enforcement bodies detained a local resident Said Amiraev. According to some information, received from an inhabitant of the village, the house of Amiraev was searched, and then law enforcers conducted his detention.

The reason for detention by law enforcers of the inhabitant of Starye Atagi is unknown.
