Rally of protest in Gudermes
In the afternoon on 11 June, on the outskirts of the town of Gudermes, at the entrance to the territory of the special battalion of GRU (main intelligence directorate of the Russian general Staff) "East" a mass protest action was held. Several hundreds of people took part in this action. The participants of the meeting held in hands photos of their relatives, which were kidnapped and disappeared at various times. Participants of the action demanded from militaries to tell them about whereabouts of their people grasped by them earlier.
Besides photos, participants of the action bore headers and posters with inscriptions: "Return our sons"!, "Yamadaevs" - enemies of the Chechen people!", "Murderers to be called to answer!", etc. When the action finished, the participants put all posters at the entrance to the military base. No other serious excesses happened during the meeting.
According to one of the participants of the meeting, the reason for holding this meeting was places of mass burial of people recently discovered in this region. These were burials of people, who had become victims of extra judicial executions by militaries of the battalion "East". People were demanding to punish those guilty and to inform them about the whereabouts and destiny of their kidnapped relatives.
Detentions of citizens
Alpatovo village
On the previous day, in the village of Alpatovo of Naurskid istrict employees of power departments conducted a regular "special operation", during which they detained and took away to unknown direction one of the local residents, living in the house on Mozdokskaya-street. This information was received from a villager of the arrested person.
According to the source, the house was searched. The reason for detention of the inhabitant of Alpatovo by law enforcers is unknown.
Vedeno district
In the district center of Vedeno, in the building of the district militia department, on 10 June law enforcers detained one of the employees of the division PPS (patrol-duty service). According to the available information, the arrested person was accused of aiding and abetting militants. His surname is being established.
It is already the second case of detention happened on 10 June in Vedeno district. Again, the person was charged in aiding and abetting militants. (Information release № 1307 of 11 June 2008).

According to the information, received from local residents, in the morning on 11 June, in the town of Karabulak employees of power departments blocked a private house # 23 located on Oskanova-street. The household, in which, according to law enforcers, several participants of armed formations found shelter, underwent massed bombardment from automatic and heavy weapons. As a result, a fire has occurred there.
According to local residents, there were five persons in the blocked house, including the landlady of the house and her son. All of them were killed. The information on victims and injures among law enforcers is not available.

According to the information, received from inhabitants of Karabulak, the victim of the "special action" is the landlady of the house Lydia Albakova. There is information that among "five killed militants" was her son (the other source says about a daughter). Identity of two killed men in the house on Oskanova street is established – Pugoev and Aushev.
Explosion of land mine in Nazran
Several days ago on Kartoev street in the city of Nazran a powerful explosion occurred. According to some information, the land mine had been incorporated by unknown persons near the house of one of the leaders of the local opposition Magomed Khazbiev.
There are no victims and injures available in this incident. Who and with what purpose has accomplished this act of terrorism is unknown. The information on the incident is received from an inhabitant of Nazran.
