«Address special operation» in Katayama settlement
According to one of the residents of the settlement of Katayama of Staropromyslovski district of the city of Grozny, on the 11-th of February in this settlement, during conduction of the so-called "address cleaning up operations", employees of power structures detained and took away to unknown direction a man of 28 years, living in the house on Pugachev street. According to some information, law enforcers accused the detainee of belonging to militants.
The surname of the arrested person is not provided due to the request of the source.

At night on February 7, in the area of the cemetery in the outskirts of Gudermes unknown persons opened fire from automatic weapons at a car of "Zhiguli" driven by an employee of the republican militia, who was coming back home. As a result of the shooting, the militiaman received several gunshot wounds and was hospitalized to the local hospital.
The assailants managed to disappear to unknown direction. The name of the suffered militiaman is being established. (Information Release № 1221 dated 12 February 2008).
Today, it was revealed that the wounded person was an employee of the Chechen MOI the 27-years sergeant of militia Turlaev.

Body of killed man found near Arshty
According to the information, received from inhabitants of Sunzhenski district of Ingushetia, on theprevious day Russian militaries conducting investigation activities in a large forest at the village of Arshty, found a body of a killed man. The body the unknown person was found near an abandoned militant base, and it gave an assumption that the killed person was a participant of armed formations.
According to the available information, the man had died from several gunshot wounds. Identity of the person is not established yet.

Late night on February 8, in the settlement of Novy of Prigorodny district of North Ossetia, employees of militia made an attempt to stop a suspicious car of “Zhiguli” of the 9th model. It was moving along one of the streets of the settlements, where 200 IDP families of Ingush ethnicity from Prigorodny district live. The passengers of the car opened fire at militiamen and tried to escape.
As a result of the clash one of the passengers was killed. One of the militiamen received a light wound to the shoulder. The other two (according to the other source, there were three of them) Двое (по другим данным трое) passengers of the “Zhiguli” ran to the other side of the street and possessed a car “Zhiguli” VAZ 2106, which was standing in the yard of one of the private households. They made a wound to the leg to the mistress of the house, who was trying to prevent stealing of the vehicle. At the exit of the village the car had got into a trench. The assailants left the car and escaped to unknown direction.
Names of the killed person and the wounded militiaman and woman are being established. (Information Release № 1220 dated 11 February 2008).
As it became known, the suffered person was the 45-years local resident Khadizhat Ekazheva. (Information Release № 1221 dated 12 February 2008).
Today new details of the incident became known. According to local residents, employees of power structures opened fire without any warning at the car, where were several men. When unknown persons threw a car and tried to escape, one of them, who received a heavy wound, blew up himself with a grenade. The employee of militia Gazdiev received a fragmental wound and was hospitalized.
