Two militaries killed in Gudermes

            According to the information, received from local residents, in the evening on 13 April, on the outskirts of the town of Gudermes, on the road to the village of Komsomolskoye, a frontal crash of two vehicles has occurred. As a result of this accident, the driver and a passenger of one of the vehicles, militaries of the division of Ministry of Defense of Russia, died on the scene.

            Two persons in the other car were hospitalized in grave condition. The circumstances of the incident and names of victims are being established. During first three months of 2008 on the roads of the republic, as a result of car accident 18 persons have died, and about 50 have received traumas of various degrees.

Detentions of citizens

Samashki village

            In the afternoon on 13 April, in the village of Samashki of Achkhoi-Martanovski district, during conduction of the so-called "address special operation", employees of power structures detained and took away to unknown direction a young man of about 30-years. This information was obtained from one of the villagers of the arrested person.

According to him, the house of the man underwent search, during which law enforcers discovered cash. The surname of the arrested person is not provided due to the request of the source.

Grozny’s Oktiabrski district

            On April 10, in Oktiabrski district of the city of Grozny, workers of militia detained a man. According to eyewitnesses the incident, militiamen have stopped an adult man on one of the streets for check. Having checked his documents, law enforcers searched the man and took him away.

The reason for his detention is unknown.

Republic of Ingushetia

Chairman of the Supreme Court of Ingushetia murdered in Karabulak

            On 13 April, in the area of one of the petrol stations in the town of Karabulak, the chairman (according to the other source, the deputy) of the Supreme Court of the republic Khasan Yandiev was killed. According to the information, received from local residents, an unknown person moving on a car of "Zhiguli" of black color made a shot from Kalashnikov's sub-machine to Yandiev, who was re-tyring on his vehicle "Mercedes".

            The judge has died on the way to the hospital. The searches of his murderer undertaken by employees of law-enforcement structures, have not given any results. There is information that the reason for punishment above Yandiev is his professional work.

Additional information

            According to the information, received from local residents, on 7 April in the area of Shkolnaya street, at the parking place, a vehicle has blown off. According to the available information, the vehicle belonged to an employee of the republican MoI. 

According to eyewitnesses, the militiaman has survived. Few minutes before the explosion he went up to his apartment. It is unknown who and why has accomplished this terrorist act against an employee of law enforcement structures.

            Late night on 7 April, on Shkolnaya street in Malgobek, near the house no. 15, a vehicle of "Zhiguli" VAZ-2109, which belonged to an employee of the Ingush militia was blown off.

            As it became known today, the blown up car belonged to the employee of Ingush militia Magomed Bekbuzarov.
