Militiaman kidnapped in Gudermes

            According to the information, received from local residents, on the previous day in the town of Gudermes, in area of Komarova-street, unknown persons armed with small arms have kidnapped an employee of the republican Ministry of Internal Affairs of about 35-years. The assailants using physical threats grasped the militiaman and violently took him away to unknown direction.

The surname of the kidnapped person is being established.

Additional information

            According to the information, received from local residents, on 13 April, on the outskirts of the village of Komsomolskoe of Groznenski district, as a result of explosion of item of ordnance to a grenade cup discharge two 16-years teenagers were killed. Currently, the only available information is the name of one of them - Akhmet Ismailov

            As it became known, teenagers found a shot to a grenade cup discharge, which then they threw into a fire. It had blown off, and the boys received heavy fragmental wounds and died on the place of the incident.

The surname of the second teenager is being established. (Information Release № 1266 of 15 April 2008). Today, the information on the second teenager became known. He is the 16-years inhabitant of the village of Komsomolskoe Mgomed Mussaev.

Attack on apartment of local resident in Karabulak

            On the night of April 16, in the town of Karabulak unknown persons threw an explosive devise into an apartment in a multi-storeyed building on Dzhabagiev-street. There are no victims and injures in this incident. This information was obtained from one of the city dwellers.

According to the available information, the 47-years Mikhail Bessonov lived in the apartment, which underwent the attack. He works as a master in the Department of oil and gas extraction in Ingushetia. Who and with what purpose had accomplished this attack is unknown.

The period of detention in custody of initiator of meeting in Nazran is extended

            As it became known from friends of the resident of Ingushetia Maksharip Aushev, the well-known businessman in the republic and one of the organizers of the mass protest action in Nazran (it took place on 26 January of the current year and had been dispersed by employees of the Ingush Ministry of Internal Affairs, who used force), last week the judge Gazgireev has extended the period of custody of Maksharip Aushev until May 26. He has been detained by employees of the Russian power structures on 14 February and immediately delivered to pre-trial detention center in Nalchik, Kabardino-Balkariya. According to relatives of Aushev, it was done with the reason to avoid large-scale protest meetings in Ingushetia.

Together with Aushev there are still five other participants of protest action kept imprisonment. Among them is the brother of his wife Magomed Yevloev. Organization of mass disorders is being tried to incriminate to Aushev.

Additional information

            At night on 11 April, on the outskirts of the village of Sagopshi of Malgobekski district, in immediate proximity from a gasoline station unknown persons fired from an automatic weapon at a car "Zhiguli" VAZ-21114, in which there were several employees of militia.

            As a result of the attack, one of them was killed, and the others received wounds of various degrees. The information on the incident is received from local residents.

The surnames of the victim and the wounded militiamen are being established. (Information Release № 1266 of 15 April 2008).

            According to the information received from a worker of law enforcement bodies of Ingushetia, the victim of assailants is the 39-years inspector of motor licensing and inspection department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Beslan Dzagiev. The militiamen Aslan Salatov, Ibragim Dzagiev and Kazbek Galaev received wounds of various degrees.
