            On March 14, in the village of Ekazhevo of Nazranovski district, near the local mosque, unknown persons moving on a car of "Zhiguli" VAZ-2107 of beige color opened fire from automatic weapons at a vehicle with employees of the republican department of FSB. As a result of the attack, one of the law enforcers was killed, and two others received various wounds and were hospitalized.

            The attackers managed to escape to unknown direction. Their searches undertaken by employees of local law enforcement bodies have not brought any results.

According to some information, next day the car "Zhiguli", on which the assailants had been moving, was found in the village of Ordzhonikidzevskaya of Ingushetia’s Sunzhenski district. (Information Release № 1245 dated 17 March 2008).

            Today surnames of the killed and wounded employees of FSB in this attack became known. As it was found out, as a result of the attack the senior authorized officer of the Department of FSB of the Russian federation in Ingushetia Oleg Korneyev has been killed. Two of his colleagues - Akhmed Tagirov and Evgeny Mirovsky have received heavy gunshot wounds and are in hospital now.

According to some information, the attack on the vehicle with employees of special services was accomplished by one person, not a group of persons. Identity of this person is not established yet.

«Address special operation» in Starye Atagi

            According to the information, received from local residents, in the first half of March 17, in the village of Starye Atagi of Groznenski district employees of power structures conducted the so-called "address special operation", during which they detained and took away to unknown direction a 42-years inhabitant of this settlement Mudarov living in the house no. 58 on Tsentralnaya street. There is information that law enforcers accused the arrested person of belonging to militants.

Grozny’s Staropromyslovski district

            According to the information, received from an inhabitant of Staropromyslovski district of the city, on the previous day at one of the check points located here workers of militia detained a driver of a car of "Zhiguli" VAZ-2106. This information was received from eyewitnesses of the incident.

According to the people, militiamen hade checked the documents of a young ma, driver of the vehicle, then had searched his car and had detained him. The surname of the arrested person is being established.

Sharo-Argun

            Several days ago, in the village of Sharo-Argun of Shatoiski district employees of local power departments detained a local resident, the 39-years man. This information was received from one of the villagers of the arrested person.

Reasons of detention of the inhabitant of Sharo-Argun by law enforcers are not established. The surname of the arrested person is not provided due to the request of the source.

Grozny’s Zavodskoi district

            As it became known from an inhabitant of Zavodskoi district of the city of Grozny, on March 4, workers of law enforcement bodies detained two young men of about 27- 28 years old. Circumstances of the incident and surnames of the detainees are being established.
