One more mass grave revealed in Chechnya
In Groznenski district of the Chechen Republic, near the village of Goryacheistochnikskaya, in autumn of 1999 on the territory of a former asphalt factory approximately remains of 300 persons, which were victims of Russian militaries, were buried. The information about the new place of mass burial was obtained on the previous day. According to the office of the Representative on human rights in the Chechen Republic, all killed people were refugees from the city of Grozny and other settlements of the republic, who in October 1999 tried to leave the area of operations taking "corridors of safety", which, as Russian military leadership was assuring, was given to the population, wishing to leave blocked Grozny.
On 30 October 1999, a column of refugees, the majority of which were women, children and old men) were proceeding towards Nadterechny district of the Chechen Republic (which by that time had been occupied by Russian troops), when they underwent the sudden artillery bombardment in area of the Petropavlovski highway. Shooting from artillery and tanks, according to eyewitnesses of the incident, was conducted from dispositions of militaries near the village of Vinogradnoye. Shelling was done despite of white flags hung out on cars. Wounded people were killed by snipers.
Later militaries took bodies of killed people to the territory of the former asphalt factory at Goryacheistochnikskaya and dug them in one big grave. Until now none of initiators of this bloody massacre, as all other punishments above peace population were not called to response for these evil deeds. Earlier the mass grave of people, who became victims of Russian militaries in the winter of 1995, was revealed in Leninski district of the city of Grozny. Here, presumably, approximately remains of 800 people, victims of air and artillery strikes on Grozny as well as extrajudicial executions by Russian militaries, who were "releasing" Grozny, were buried.
Fighting near Dargo
In the evening on 27 June, in a large forest near the village of Dargo of Vedenski district a fighting between a group of insurgents and employees of local militia occurred. As a result of the cross firing, four employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are killed and other four received wounds of different weight.
Two attackers were killed as well. Later, identity of one of them was established. He was a 20-years resident of Kizil-Yurtovski district of Dagestan Isa Gadzhiev. According to some information, the second killed person was a local resident. His name, as well as names of killed militiamen, is being established.
Local resident detained on “Kavkaz” highway
On 26 June, on a federal highway "Kavkaz", on the check point "Gerzel bridge", located on the administrative border between the Chechen Republic and Dagestan, employees of militia detained a young man of about 24 - 26 years. This information was obtained form eyewitness of the incident.
There is information that the young man, driving a lorry "Gazelle" was detained after the check of documents and examination of the vehicle. The reason for such actions of law enforcers is unknown. The surname of the arrested person is being established. According to some information, he is an inhabitant of Argun.

In second half of 29 June, on a street in the village of Nasyr-Kort (Nazran) an unknown man moving on a vehicle of "Zhiguli" VAZ-2107 opened fire from sub-machine guns on a local resident standing at the gate of his house. As a result of it, the latter received several gunshot wounds and died on the place of the incident.
Immediately after that the vehicle speeded away towards the central part of the city. Who and with what purpose has accomplished murder of an inhabitant of the village of Nasyr-Kort is unknown. (Information release № 1320 of 30 June 2008).
As it became known from an inhabitant of the village of Nasyr-Kort, the name of the killed person is Isa Tumgoev. He was delivered to the hospital in grave condition, where he died from the received wounds. Identity of his murderer is not established yet.
