Man killed in Grozny

            Late night on 22^nd of January in Zavodskoi district of the city of Grozny, at a car-stop in the area of Industrialnaya street, as a result of a blast of unidentified explosive device a man has been wounded. According to eyewitnesses, the man who came out of a car "Zhiguli" had stopped in the street picked up a subject lying on the earth, and explosion has occurred after that.

            The man received heavy wounds (he lost his hands) and was hospitalized to the city hospital no. 9. There are no other injures as a result of the explosion. The surname of the wounded person is being established.

Detentions of citizens

Grozny’s Leninski district

            On the 20th of January in Leninski district of the city of Grozny employees of power structures detained three young men. The circumstances of the incident and the surname of the arrested persons are being established.

The information on it is received from a city dweller. According to some information, law enforcers accused the arrested persons of belonging to militants.

Urus-Martan

            According to the information, received from local residents, on the 17th of January in the town of Urus-Martan workers of local law enforcement bodies detained a city dweller Khasan Salangeriev. According to the available information, Salangeriev was stopped at the street for documents’ check, then was searched and taken away to militia department.

The reasons of her detention are not established.

Shelkovski district

            According to one of inhabitants of the village of Chervlennaya of Shelkovski district, several days ago employees of militia detained his villager. The reason for detention of the man is unknown.

The surname of the arrested person is not provided due to the request of the source.

Car blew up in Nazran

            In the evening on the 22nd of January on Evloev-street in the city of Nazran a vehicle of "Zhiguli" of the eighth model has blown up. As a result of the explosion, the driver of the car, presumably, an inhabitant of Dagestan, has died. Three passers-by received wounds of various degrees.

            Local law enforcers assume that the car blown up in Nazran was to be used for fulfillment of a large act of terrorism, however "the infernal machine" has worked inadvertently. The information on the incident is received from an inhabitant of Nazran.

Employee of FAGGI killed in attack in Nazran

            Late night on the 22nd of January in the city of Nazran, on Moskovskaya street, in immediate proximity from the building of Migration service, a group of unknown persons fired from automatic weapon at a vehicle "Gazelle", in which there were several employees of Federal agency for government communication and information (FAGGI). One of the men in the car was killed on the scene, three others received wounds of various degrees and were hospitalized.

            According to the available information, a victim of the attack is a 37-years warrant officer Aslan Yanziev.
