Man murdered in Valerik
According to the information, received from local residents, on 24 May in the village of Valerik of Achkhoi-Martanovski district, during conduction of the so-called "address special operation" a young man was killed. There is information that the unknown person was blocked by law enforcers in a private house on Stepnaya-street. According to some information, he rendered armed resistance and died undermining himself with a grenade.
Later it became known that the victim was the resident of the village of Pervomaiskoye of Groznenski district. His surname is Isupkhadzhiev.
Fighting in Urus-Martanovski district
On 17 May, in a large forest in the vicinity of the village of Tangi-Chu of Urus-Martanovski district a fighting between militaries and a group of insurgents occurred. As a result of the cross-firing three servicemen received wounds and were hospitalized.
This information became known from inhabitants of Urus-Martanovski district. According to them, the area of the clash was later blocked by law enforcers. Helicopters were used for search of militants, which had managed to escape in a large forest.
Unknowns robbed house of local in Ilinovskaya
According to one of inhabitants of the village of Ilinovskaya of Groznenski district, several days ago a group of armed persons in masks had made an armed assault on the house of his villager. The group of unknown persons had rushed into a house on Kalinin-street and threatening the owner with physical violence took away a large amount of money (the amount varies from 700 up to 800 thousand rubles) and jewelry.
The assailants managed to escape to unknown direction. Their identity is not established yet.

About 16.30 on 21 May, in the market "Severny" in Leninski district of the city of Grozny, an unknown young man made a shot to the head of the officer of federal forces and wounded him. According to eyewitness of the incident, at the moment of the attack the victim was standing near a vehicle of "Gazelle".
The attacker managed to escape to unknown direction. The attempt to detain him has not brought any success. The wounded officer has been taken to the hospital. His surname is being established. (Information Release № 1293 of 22 May 2008).
Today some details of the officer wounded on 21 May. He was a captain of interior troops Konstantin Dementiev.

Late night on May 21, in the village of Znamenskoye of Nadterechni district unknown man moving on a vehicle of "Zhiguli" made several shots from a pistol to the officer of local police Saidov. The incident occurred near the café of "Argo".
The militiaman received wound to the back, but managed to open reciprocal fire. Saidov’s colleagues, who arrived to the scene, organized prosecution of the assailant. His car was blocked and attacked by law enforcers near the central market of the settlement.
The attacker received several gunshot wounds and died on the way to the hospital. At present the only available information is that he was an inhabitant of the village of Beno-Yurt of the same district. (Information Release № 1293 of 22 May 2008).
According to the information, received from a resident of Beno-Yurt, the killed person was his villager Ababev. The reason for his attack on the employee of law enforcement bodies is unknown.

Border guards fired at in Nazran
Late night on 23 May, in the city of Nazran unknown persons fired from grenade cup discharges and automatic weapons at the territory of the boundary group of FSB of Russia. The incident, according to one of local residents, occurred approximately at 2 am on Mayakovski-street.
The information on victims among frontier guards, as a result of this incident, is not available. The building of the Department of boundary service has received significant damage.
Militiaman wounded in Nesterovskaya
In the evening on 21 May, in the village of Nesterovskaya of Sunzhenski district an unknown person made a shot from small arms on the militia post located on a federal highway "Kavkaz". As a result, one of the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia from St.-Petersburg has received a wound and was hospitalized. His surname is being established.

According to one of the inhabitants of the city of Nazran, on the night of May 22, on Bazorkin-avenue a powerful explosion occurred. According to the source, near the crater of explosion remains of unknown man were found.
There is information that the victim has incidentally blown off on a land mine at the attempt to place it. (Information Release № 1293 of 22 May 2008).
Today some details on the killed man were obtained. He was the 23 years local Artur Tsoloev.
