«Address special operation» in Veduchi

            On 26 May, in the village of Veduchi of Itum-Kalinski district, during conduction of a so-called "address special operation", employees of power structures detained and took away to unknown direction one of the inhabitants of the village. The information on this incident is received from an inhabitant of Itum-Kalinski district.

According to him, the house of the arrested person was searched. There is information that law enforcers found weapon there. The circumstances of the incident and the surname of the detained inhabitant of Veduchi is being established.

Detention in Achkhoi-Martan

            On May 14, in the regional center of Achkhoi-Martan workers of local militia detained a young man. This information was obtained from villagers of the arrested person.

There is information that law enforcers accused him of belonging to militants.

“Cleaning up operation” in Plievo

            According to the information, received from local residents, in the morning on 27 May, representatives of Ingush militia and Russian militaries arrived to the village of Plievo of Nazranovski district on trucks "Ural" and vehicles "UAZ", accompanied by armored troop carriers. Entrances and exits to the settlement were blocked.

Law enforcers made house-to-house detour and checked passports of local residents. For the time being, information on arrested persons during this "special operation" is not available. 

Militiamen wounded school leaver in Malgobek district

            In the evening on May 24, on the checkpoint of State Road Traffic Safety Inspection located in the so-called area "Malgobek circle", employees of Ingush militia fired from automatic weapon at a car of "Zhiguli", in which there were several leavers of one of the local schools, who were coming back from their "last call". As a result of the firing, one of the young men in the car received a gunshot wound and was hospitalized to the hospital.

This information was provided by one of the eyewitnesses of the incident. Militiamen, according to the source, stated that they had opened fire at a vehicle because it had looked "suspicious". The surname of the wounded schoolboy is being established.

Republic of North Ossetia-Alania

Arbitrariness of servicemen in Maiskoye

            As it became known from an inhabitant of the village of Maiskoye of Prigorodny district of North Ossetia, in the morning on 21 May, Russian militaries passing by on two armored troop-carriers on the highway "Vladikavkaz-Mozdok" made a shot from a grenade cup discharge (or a flame thrower) at a house of the family of Dugievs. Luckily, they got into the shed in the courtyard of the household.

As a result of the explosion of the shell, household constructions have been destroyed, and a large fire has started. Fire teams, which arrived to the scene, spent several hours trying to localize the center of ignition. According to eyewitnesses, the armored troop carrier, from which militaries had made the shot, left form the place on the high speed towards the so-called "Kantyshevo crossroad".

The reason for such aggressive actions of militaries is not established.
