Local resident died in Grozny rural district

            According to the information, received from inhabitants of the village of Kadi-Yurt of Groznenski district, on 26 April, in the outskirts of this village the corpse of a 54-years resident of this village with gunshot wounds was found. According to the information available at the present moment, the man had gone for hunting, having a smoothbore gun with himself.

The circumstances of the incident and the name of the killed person are being established.

Local resident of Dachu-Borzoi detained

            On April 24, in the village of Dachu-Borzoi of Grozny rural district employees of Russian and local power structures, during carrying out of the so-called "address cleaning up operation", detained and took away to unknown direction one of the inhabitants of this settlement. This information was obtained from villagers of the arrested person.

According to some information, law enforcers accused the man of belonging to insurgents. The surname of the arrested person is not provided due to the request of his relatives.

Attempt to explode FSB employee in Malgobek

            According to one of the inhabitants of the town of Malgobek, on the previous day, in the area of Bazorkin-street the attempt to fulfill the act of terrorism against an employee of FSB of Russia in Ingushetia was accomplished. A self-made bomb of powerful capacity was revealed under the bottom of the car of the law enforcer parked in the street.

The land mine was neutralized by sappers. Identity of organizers is not established.

Vehicle of Member of Parliament fired at in Nazran

            On the night of April 25, in the city of Nazran a group of unknown persons fired from small arms at a car belonging to the deputy of the National assembly of Ingushetia Ruslan Gagiev. The deputy was not in the car at the moment of the attack.

The car was driven by the brother of Gagiev - Islam. As a result of the attack, he received heavy gunshot wounds and was hospitalized to the republican hospital.

The reason of attempt on Gagiev is not known. Searches of assailants undertaken by employees of the Ingush militia have not given any results. Inhabitants of the republic say that recently the number of attacks on representatives of authorities and employees of power structures, in spite of the strengthened security measures, has sharply increased.

Attack on militiamen in Nazran

            Late night on 25 April, in the city of Nazran, in the area of Kommunalnaya-street, unknown persons moving on a car of "Zhiguli" opened fire from automatic devices at employees of militia on a checkpoint. Thus, one of the militiamen was wounded.

The assailants managed to escape to unknown direction.
