Local resident found killed nearGoi-Chu

            About 20 PM in the evening on 4th of June, in the vicinity of the village Goi-Chu of Urus-Martanovski district a group of armed persons in camouflage uniform fired from automatic weapons at a car of "Zhiguli". As a result of the attack, three out of four men in the vehicle were wounded. Later. One of them died in the hospital.

The information on the incident is received from local residents. According to them, the driver of the car has not suffered. Identity of assailants is not established.

Detentions of citizens

Pervomayaskaya village

            According to the information, received from inhabitant of Groznenski district, on 3 June, in the village of Pervomaiskaya employees of power departments detained and took away to unknown direction a young man. The circumstances of the incident and the surname of the arrested person are being established.

According to some information, law enforcers accused the man of belonging to insurgents.

Nikolayevskaya village

            Several days ago in the village of Nikolaevskaya of Naurski district workers of local militia conducted an "address special operation". During this "action" they detained a 42-years local resident. There is information that a "standard" charge in belonging to militants was brought against him.

This information was obtained from a villager of the arrested person. The surname of the man is not provided due to the request of the source.

Local resident detained in Nazran

            As it became known from an inhabitant of Nazran, on 4 June, in a private household on Kravchuk street employees of the Russian power departments conducted an "address cleaning up operation". Without providing any explanation, they detained and took away to unknown direction a son of the owner of the house, the 20-years young man (the surname is being established).

There is information that the house was searched, and then law enforcers declared that weapons and ammunition was found in the house. Besides, militaries demanded from parents of the arrested young man to inform them about whereabouts of their second son.

Additional information

On 3 June, in the village of Yandare of Nazranovski district employees of power structures, during the attempt of detention, killed a man. Besides, law enforcers wounded and detained one more young man, which was in the car with the killed man.

According to an inhabitant of Yandare, militiamen had fired at a car "Niva" with two unknown persons, and then the car had inflamed. One of the men has been killed on the scene, and his body was left in the burning car. The second person received several gunshot wounds and was taken away by law enforcers.

Law enforcers declared that the men had rendered armed resistance during detention. For the time being, it is known that the arrested person is a 25-years local resident Mikail Ozdoev. The surname of the victim is being established. (Information Release № 1302 of 4 June 2008).

            According to the information received from an inhabitant of Ingushetia, the killed person is a 23-years inhabitant of Nazran Rizvan Tsurov.
