Explosion in Yandare

            On January 8, in the village of Yandare of Nazranovski district a powerful explosion has occurred here. This information was received from inhabitants of the settlement. There is no exact information about this incident for the time being.

According to people, the explosion occurred approximately at 3 AM. More details on the incident are being established.

Protest rally took place in Kantyshevo

            On the 7th of January, in the village of Kantyshevo Nazranovski district, a meeting of protest, in which about 100 local residents took part, has taken place. According to one of the participants, they expressed their distrust to the present authorities of the republic, and prepared application to the President of Russia regarding the situation in Ingushetia.

No excesses were reported during the meeting.

«Address special operation» in Grozny

            According to the information, received from local residents, on the 7th of January in the city of Grozny, during conduction of the so-called "address operation", employees of power structures detained a young man of approximately 20 - 22 years. According to some information, law enforcers accused him of aiding and abetting militants.

Currently, the only available information is that the detainee was a resident of the village of Mairtup of Kurchaloiski district.

Local resident died in Grozny

            On the 1 of January in Leninski district of the city of Grozny, as a result of explosion in a boiler of the house no. 12, located in Kievski lane, a man, who was doing some welding works, has died. This information was received from inhabitants of Grozny.

The reason of explosion is unknown. The surname of the victim and the circumstances of the incident are being established.

Detentions of citizens

Grozny city

            On the 26th of December in the city of Grozny, workers of law enforcement bodies detained two women, sisters Madina and Larissa Yanursaevs. This information was provided by friends of the detainees. According to the available information, Madina Yanursaeva, who has a lawyer background, is a citizen of Kyrgyzstan.

The reason for their detention is unknown.

Assinovskaya

            On December 22, in the village of Assinovskaya of Sunzhenski district, workers of power departments detained and took away to unknown direction a 26-years inhabitant of this village (the surname is being established). This information was obtained from villagers of the arrested person.

The reasons of detention of the inhabitant of Assinovskaya are not established.
