MoI employee wounded in Nazran
In the morning of 9 April, in the courtyard of the house no.10 on Bazorkin avenue, a terrorist act was accomplished. According to the information received from a resident of a city, a powerful explosion device, which was installed under a “Niva” vehicle, has detonated. As a result of the explosion, an employee of the republican MoI (the name is being established) was heavily wounded.
According to the source, this terrorist act was directed against the victim of the explosion, as the blown vehicle belongs to him. The explosion happened at the moment when the militiaman was getting into his car.
Currently, the victim is in the city hospital. His state is considered by doctors as very serious.
Explosion in Nasyr-Kort
According to the information, received from local residents, on the previous morning in the area of Tutaev street in nasyr-Kort of Nazranovski district, in the vicinity of the bridge over Nazranka river, an explosive device of unidentified type has detonated. There are no victims or casualties reported in this incident.
Who and why has organized this terrorist act is unknown.

Two militiamen suffered in Shali
On 5 April, in the district center of Shali, on the territory of the secondary school no. 4, an incident has occurred, during which two employees of law enforcement structures has suffered. As it became known from local residents, two employees of patrol service tried to stop an unknown man.
The latter showed resistance and brought serious wounds to law enforcers. The man was detained, but militiamen were rendered medical assistance as well.
The circumstances of the incident are being established.
Detentions of citizens
Mesker-Yurt village
As it becam eknown from a resident of Shali district, recently on the outskirts of the village of Mesker-Yurt, in the area of the federal highway “Kavkaz”, law enforcers detained a young man. According to the source, militiamen stopped him for documents check, then searched him and took away.
The reason for detention of the man by law enforcers is unknown. His name is not provided due to the request of the source.
Grozny’s Oktiabrski district
Several days ago, at one of the checkpoints in Oktiabrski district of the city of Grozny, employees of law enforcement bodies detained a resident of Urus-Martanovski district (the name is being established). As it became known from eyewitnesses of the incident, militiamen stopped a vehicle “Moskvich” driven by a man, who was later detained.
Having checked the passport and documents of the vehicle, employees of MoI conducted detention of the man. According to some information, some times later the man was released with the requirement to come to militia on the first notice.
Additional information
At night on 8 April in the settlement of Kirova of Grozny’s Zavodskoi district a group of unknown persons opened fire at a building on Uchenicheskaya street, where the local police department has been located. This information was obtained from residents of this settlement.
As a result of the attack, a police officer has received a wound and was hospitalized. His name is being established.
The assailants managed to escape to unknown direction. (Information Release № 1261 dated 8 April 2008)
As it became today, as a result of this attack the captain of militia Sulatan Mausarov has suffered. He received wounds to the head and back.
